Sometimes its frustrating to wait for days to know whether your email was read by its recipients when you are sending time-critical information . But If you are using "Outlook Express" version 5.01 and later, you need not to wait it has a feature called "Read Receipt". Let us see how to use it.
The Outlook express 'Read receipt settings' has two options.
One: case-by-case basis, manually requesting the receipt for each individual email
Two: Can be automated to request read receipt for all mails.
To request a read receipt for individual messages:
Click 'Request Read Receipt' on the Tools menu in your new message.
To request a read receipt for all messages:
1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Receipts tab.
2. Click to select the 'Request a read receipt for all sent messages' check box, and then click OK.
