Little Minds, Big Dreams..

Sibling
Sitting skew

on a child woman hip,

she stands

nose pressed against

the glass,

as images

and

dreams unfold

Waves on beaches,

steps in the sand,

bobbing boats,

a small house

in the mountains,

a vegetable patch,

an evening walk

on a river bank,

birds chattering,

children playing,

walking to school,

skipping in the woods,

laughing their heads off,

mothers,

worshiping,

temple bells,

celebrations,

flowers,

roses,

tulips,

jasmines,

a mischievous moon,

admonished by a

seriously setting sun,

looking sideways

at picturesque pillars

in far away lands;

She adjusts

the little one

on her hip,

as she produces

a mashed

blackened banana

for him.

She must reach

the parents’

construction

workplace,

and speeds up

her steps.

Looking to get

her own work soon.

Unsure

about her own,

she will ensure

that the little fellow

astride her hip.

rubbing

his runny nose

on her shoulder

can visualize

and realize,

his own dreams

one day………….
